Wolken über Lützerath

Documentary Feature - 106 Min - 2025

For Blinker, Ronni, and Green Party Member of the Bundestag Kathrin Henneberger, the 1.5-degree limit runs right through Lützerath. Each in their own way, they are fighting to preserve the village in the Rhineland mining region. While Blinker relies on barricades and Ronni focuses on the media strategy for the occupation, Henneberger tries to influence her party’s leadership. But the Green Party heads consider Lützerath the “wrong symbol.” After the eviction, what remains are images of destruction, memories, and wounds that are only slowly healing.
